2 Different Endings in Chapter 2!!! MORE PvE!!!
Ok my idea is to add 2 endings to chapter 2.
Many of us know the ending of this game , and if u play it more than once it kinda gets boring, and u wanna skip movies during mission. And people dont even do quests after they reach LA anymore.
This will surely enlarge the number of PvE players and this game will be longer(thats what we all want).And after they are done with the game they wont just jump into PvP, people will continue playing PvE to find how the 2nd ending is.
This is how it works:
-You could finish the 2nd ending of chapter 2 lets say by doing certain quests or missions.
- Finish the 2nd ending only by collecting( saving a monster/killing a monster im trying to think of something else ) some special items that you find from the previous quests/missions.
-This will take a long time to find the required items needed for the different ending and will keep the players serching for it.
The way u enter into a different mission witch will then take you to the 2nd ending is like this. YOu know before a mission you click "Enter Mission", but if u have the required items/or quests you've done , you click "Enter (and the name of the place you are going to go) Place".
This mission will be hard, much like UW/FOW , but even harder, and at the end there are very nice rewards and exp.
After you are done with the objectives in the "secret" place you will then be taken to a different area where people that didnt do this special mission wont get into.
In this place you either stop a monster from reaching the crystal palace(jsut an example), that in the normal ending the monster WILL be at the crystal palace. THis will twist things around and make it even more exciting .
You will have a zone on the map where u can teleport whenever you want .

Not sure about this. To make PvE more varied and not so predictable is a good thing. But I reckon it won't be long till all paths (much like bonus and mission now) are explored. That would give the same feeling as doing a mission now.
Predictable.

so you like it or are u against it? I dont see whats wrong , it just adds more PvE in a very nice special way.

I'm against it in its current form. I think that it needs some more thought put in it. It think the idea is nice, but the implementation may need some more thought. Altough I'm not sure how to go around it myself. But I trust someone will reply here and take up where you started...

Ok, altealst the u like the idea. Thanks alot, you can post your ideas if you would like. I know it needs more implementation, i just tought of it last night one the spot.

In a way, taking a note from the "choose your own adventure" books:
You come across a NPC outside of town/in a mission.
You talk to him and make a choice whether to follow/help/protect/accept his quest.
Completion/Failure result in either new quests being available or unavilable.
To prevent the need(Grind) to do a quest/mission over and over just ot get it right, similar quests will be available later on to get rewards (skills, exp, items).

I, too, want to see different endings and a more open-ended, non-linear game (esp. at higher levels where everyone one is 20th level anyway, but lower level variety would be nice too).
The problem I keep running into, is how does the game decide which mission a group will run? Does it go with the majority of the party who chose Option A? Is there a vote? Will we see people "LFG that DIDN'T kill the Priest"?
I don't know... a lot of questions of how to do this, but certainly something I'd like to see in Chapter 2.

Good, i like your opinions . This is definetly something that can be changed, like i said i tough of it like in 2 minutes. All your ideas and suggestions about this topic are welcome. I tought of something today, ill post it tomorow.
